Zip Wader Warranty & Repairs

We build these waders to be hunted hard, and we back them. If something’s wrong when they arrive and you haven’t worn them, send them back within 30 days. If they get torn up in the field, we can often fix that too, at a reasonable price.

Take care of your waders and follow the care instructions, and we’ll cover the materials and workmanship for their practical life. That means the normal wearable life of a pair of waders, not the lifetime of the owner. Coverage stays with the original buyer and doesn’t transfer.

Whether a pair is still within its practical life is our customer service team’s call. We’ll look at how old the waders are, how they’ve been used and what failed, and we may ask you for more details before we decide.

We’d rather fix a good pair than replace it. Whenever we can, we’ll repair your waders and get them back in the water.

What the Warranty Covers

If it’s a manufacturing defect, we’ll repair or replace your waders at no cost to you. Which one is our call. If a lasting repair isn’t possible, you’ll get the same model or a comparable pair. Once a claim is approved, we’ll send a prepaid shipping label within 1 to 2 business days. Send the waders in clean and dry.

  • Seam failures
  • Zipper defects
  • Boot separation
  • Failed components

Repairs for Field Damage

Ice, cypress knees, flooded timber and boat decks are hard on waders. That’s hunting, not a defect, so it isn’t covered by the warranty. We’ll still try to fix it at a reasonable cost. You’ll get a price first, and we don’t start the work until you approve it.

  • Punctures, cuts and snags
  • Burns
  • Accidental damage
  • Damage from improper care or storage
  • Ordinary wear
